Scheduled
On Saturday, October 21st, 2017 at approximately 02:00 UTC, Linode will be conducting an emergency network maintenance in our Dallas data center. During this maintenance, engineers will be upgrading the software code on a pair of customer gateway routers. The code upgrade is to remedy a forwarding table bug that was discovered and mitigated earlier in the day.

Due to the redundant nature of these systems, we do not expect an impact to customer traffic or downtime during the software upgrade process. As with any network maintenance, the possibility exists of some latency and/or packet loss during the window. With this packet loss you may also experience issues with our Manager and API during the maintenance. The duration of this maintenance is two hours.

A small subset of customers have also reported residual packet loss. If you are currently experiencing connectivity issues to our Dallas data center, please reach out to our Customer Support Team for assistance.
